New in Town - one line review
Cute, fun, Renee Zellweger is one of my current favourites so I enjoyed it.

Next - one line review
What I saw was okay but not good enough to keep me awake - Steve enjoyed all of it and thought it clever.
The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill - one line review
Great - loved it - perfect ending - would have paid to see it.
Casa Bella - 4 out of 5
Italian restaurant in Aiken on Chesterfield St. Bread was fresh, hot and delicious, served with roasted garlic in olive oil. Minestrone Soup was disappointing in that they had obviously put a bag of frozen mixed vegetables in - otherwise the flavour was good but not the same as when the vegetables cook in the soup. Chicken Parmesan (Steve) and Fettucine Alfredo (Lisa) were both excellent and very good sized portions. Great value at $60 including a bottle of Pinot Grigio.

Hunan Cafe - 3.5 out of 5
Small Chinese restaurant on Fury's Ferry Rd in the Publix shopping center. Good lunch specials, particulary like the hot and sour soup which is $1.25 per cup with your lunch. Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, Hunan Chicken all highly recommended. It must be said that the ratings are based on local area Chinese which cannot compare with anything to be found in Cupertino, CA.
Manuel's Bread Cafe - 4 out of 5
Bistro-style restaurant in Hammond's Ferry, N. Augusta, SC. Good french onion soup, great pate, apparently great tomato and dill soup (this from a reliable source - I will try it next time). Also goat cheese and roquefort - both options very tempting to my palette. Despite the name, so far the bread has been the least good thing I've had.
